Laura Motta began her piano studies at the age of 7, following on at the Conservatory “G.Nicolini” in Piacenza where she graduated in piano under the supervision of Cristina Frosini. After her initial piano degree she choose to study the harpsichord in order to explore and discover baroque to expand her historically informed knowledge of this particular repertiore. She attended both a Bachelor and Master (cum laude) at the Conservatory “G.Verdi” of Milano under the supervision of Laura Bertani, Maria Cecilia Farina and Giovanni Togni where she additionally attended several masterclass with Emilia Fadini, Christophe Rousset, Pietr Jan Belder and Francesco Corti. After her graduation in Italy, she decided to improve her musical skills by enrolling as a student in the Bachelor programme at The Koninklijk Conservatorium of The Hague, where she’s currently studying with Fabio Bonizzoni and Patrick Ayrton. Laura is also studying fortepiano under the supervision of Bart van Oort and Petra Somlai as part of her minor degree. Laura joins Virtuosi as a piano teacher since 2017, and is happy to share her knowledge with pupils of all ages from beginner to advanced.
