Guitarist Nick Vailer was born in Athens, Greece. Nick was inspired by his father and started to learn guitar at the young age of 5.Although he was a self taught guitar player by the time he was 17, he was already giving private guitar lessons to students of all ages, styles and level.In 2009 he was successfully auditioned by the Berklee committee at Philippos Nakas Conservatory in Athens,where he was offered a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston for 2 years.He studied theory and guitar next to Thaddeus Hogarth, Michael Williams and Bruce Saunders.He graduated with a specialist degree on Rock, Blues and Jazz guitar.  Since 2012 Nick works as a session guitar player performing live and touring with many respectful musicians including Ross Daly, Panos Mouzourakis, PulseDotBand, Dimitris Pagomenos, Panos Gourgiotis, arranging  and composing music for shows, films and theaters, recording for many artists, albums at Mad Hat Music Productions next to Nikos Vogiatzakis, teaching guitar and representing Crazy Tube Circuits Pedals in NAMM show C.A.  In 2014 he started teaching electric and acoustic guitar at the RSL Rockschool department of Greece for 3 years where he also gave master classes. Aside from his signature guitar playing, Nick is known for his enthusiasm and being an approachable and highly effective guitar instructor. He focuses and invests in the picture his students have in their minds for playing the guitar, build their confidence and help them to achieve that without loosing their personal sound, tone and perspective.  Maintain their interest and fun.  ”I was inspired with Nick’s professionalism. He is a dedicated teacher that will strive to provide material designed to improve any player’s abilities and that will match the student’s musical interest”-RSL-Greece.  Nick now teaches at the Virtuosi School of Music electric guitar in the styles of (rock, blues, fusion and metal) and acoustic fingerstyle guitar.  His inspirations include Frank Zappa, Pat Metheny, Tommy Emmanuel, Jeff Beck, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Guthrie Govan, Ritchie Kotzen, Eric Johnson, BB King, Jimmy Page, Pat Martino, Joe Pass, Marcus Miller and many more.
