Chantal Richardson, better known as Chanti, is a singer-songwriter from the island of Sint Maarten. Her music is a mix of R&B, Pop and Soul with a Caribbean influence. Rounding off her studies in Music and Entertainment Management, she now teaches singing and writes songs for various signed and unsigned international artists. She got her break out at 14 when she won the Sint Maarten Idol’s, followed by her first single which got over 80K streams on YouTube and was nominated for a Caribbean music award. With her mixed background of Danish and Caribbean, Chanti brings out a fusion of mixed genres making her music multidimensional. She has since shared the stage with artists like Acehood, Mischu Laikah, SBMG, Orange Grove and more. After releasing her single ‘Baila’ in 2018, she was able to open for Young Thug and perform at multiple events and festivals in The Netherlands. Chanti believes that helping students find their voice and who they really are is what her classes are all about. She pushes students to be their best self, while having a fun and exciting time. ‘’It’s not just about how perfect your voice is but how well you’re telling the story’’- Stevie Mackey.
